Library
The school has a large library with about 4500 volumes of books & almost all the leading magazines, Journals in English, Hindi & Bengali especially, for the primary, junior & upper section. The school subscribes to all leading Newspapers in English, Hindi & Bengali. The library is well organized & maintained by a qualified librarian. The collection consists of academic books, stories, novels, essays, and travels. The library has also audio-visual aids also. Regular updating of the record room is done making use of the latest techniques.
There are several reference books, including encyclopedias, dictionaries & informative picture books. Students can enjoy comics and cartoon books at the library. Library hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. Additionally, we have classroom collections for children from where they con borrow books.
Compact discs, LCD Projector, Video & Audio cassettes covering a wide range of subjects & current topics supplement the repository of the teaching aids used as a port of the pedagogical process. The library has also a collection of wonderful & exciting books suitable
Library Rules
1. All students of the school paying library fee are members of the Library; 2. Only one book is issued at a time; 3. Books are issued for fifteen days and can be returned, reissued during library day; 4. Books overdue may be returned on any Library day paying a late fine of Rs. 2 – per day. 5. Lost books must be replaced by the borrower. 6. Books overdue may escape penalty if the borrower is found absent for valid and approved reason.
